The HSE Lead Specialist shall provide HSE support and follow up in the onshore and offshore operations linked to the site including remote locations.
The position will play an important role in advancing HSE Culture, Risk reduction and assessment initiatives across the operations.

As a HSE Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for the below:Providing HSE support to onshore and offshore operations related to the site.
Giving advice on development, implementation, and improvements of HSE programs and processes to ensure company compliance. Drive HSE performance improvements.
Contributing and supporting in compliance and certification to ISO 14001 and 45001. Including Management Review and setting of annual HSE priorities.
Driving operationalization of HSE activities, supporting the operations teams in awareness and compliance to HSE areas assigned to them.
Assuring continual improvement through trend analysis of data to assess environment, health and safety challenges and to develop approaches to control.
Participating in the integration and inductions for new employees.
Interacting with all employees to promote sound HSE culture, including being visible on site.
Following up on HSE related web-based systems such as Gensuite and Intelex, coaching/training employees on use.
Supporting in the implementation and follow up of HSE plans, metrics and KPI’s.
Supporting in verification activities such as HSE audits and workplace HSE inspections.
Facilitating risk analysis and investigations as needed.
Supporting to educate, guide and train employees and new employees in HSE related matters.
Interacting with public authorities as necessary.

To be successful in this role you need:
Demonstrate HSE Experience in Oil and Gas industry.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills (Norwegian and English language required).
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Norwegian HSE regulations and relevant standards.
Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma or similar.
Have strong oral and written communication skills
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
